UK universities, colleges and schools will provide a vibrant, creative and challenging environment in which to develop your potential. Quality standards for UK institutions are among the best in the world. Universities, colleges and schools continually have to prove that their courses meet strict criteria. Many other countries are now trying to follow the example of the UK

Globally Accepted Qualifications

In an increasingly globalized world economy; people need special skills and qualities to succeed. Employers want employees who can think effectively, creatively and for themselves. This is an essential part of the UK learning experience. Institutions use a variety of teaching and assessment methods to encourage independence, as well as mastery of the subject. At degree and postgraduate level in particular, students are encouraged to read widely, to question and analyze what they have read, and to discuss openly their own ideas in seminars and tutorials. Career based courses are designed to equip you for specific roles in the modern world of work.

Some of the Universities and Colleges in the UK offer up to Pounds 2000 Scholarships to the International Students. The scholarships are based on merits and sometimes IELTS score is considered while awarding scholarship to the International Students. Some of the Universities in the UK have departmental scholarships which are awarded to the students for particular courses only.

Cost of Studying and Living Expenses

A UK Bachelor’s degree can take only 3 years to complete while a postgraduate Master's courses takes only 1 year - compared with four years for a Bachelors and 2 years for a Masters in most of the other countries. This means you will save a great deal on both tuition fees and living costs - and you will be able to start working and earning earlier than you expect. UK degree courses are shorter because they are more intensive, and therefore more efficient in terms of your time and money. All Institutions have a different fee structure for local and International students. If you were a British National you tend to pay of the tuition fees compared to the International students.

An approximate fee structure for International Students:1(Pound) = INR 98 Approx.

Permanent Residency

Permanent Residency

A student needs to convert their student visas into a Tier 2 Work Permit. This is possible only if the student is able to get a confirmed job with an employer in the UK. Moreover the Employer would have to apply for the students work permit. Usually the work permits are issued for duration of 60 months.

Once you have legally stayed in the UK on a work permit for duration of 60 months or more, you would be able to convert your visa into an indefinite leave or a permanent residency visa.
